PFT uses your phone’s built-in GPS to record flights, which makes it accessible to every pilot without any additional hardware. However, phones don’t have the barometric pressure sensors or certified security modules required by IGC and FAI for official competition validation.

For everyday flight logging, training analysis, and sharing your flights on WeGlide or OLC, our IGC export works perfectly. If you fly competitions, you’ll typically receive a certified logger (such as a Nano or Flarm device) at the event – that’s the right tool for that job.
